Simply Energy is an Australian energy retailer offering electricity plans for residences and businesses in VIC, QLD, NSW and SA. They also offer natural gas to customers in SA, VIC, WA and some of NSW.

Simply Energy offers a number of flexible plans with low usage and supply rates, and sign-up incentives like AFL store vouchers and Village reward points that can go towards purchasing movie tickets. 

Simply Energy also offers feed-in tariffs for users with solar PV systems that reimburse customers for energy generated through solar panels and sent back to the grid.

Simply Energy offers a number of residential plans and one business plan including electricity and gas. Their residential plans are named for the sign-up incentives they come with, which vary from state to state. 

Each Simply Energy residential plan features:

Simply Energy is an energy provider offering a range of plans for both commercial and residential users in Australia. This includes gas and electricity in NSW, Vic and SA, electricity only in QLD and gas only in WA. 

Plans in each state offer incentives unique to that state in partnership with organisations like RACV, Village Cinemas and AFL.com. Except for different incentives, most Simply Energy plans offer similar rates state by state. They have a poor Product Review score of 1.35/5.

Does Simply Energy buy solar from its customers?


Yes. Simply Energy offers retailer-funded feed-in tariffs. However, these plans will vary between states and you should always confirm with Simply Energy on the feed-in tariff amount before switching plans.
