Matt joined Money.com.au in 2025 as a Finance Content and Media Specialist. With over a decade of experience in journalism and content creation, he's passionate about offering value to readers through engaging and informative content.
Background and experience
Before jumping on board with Money.com.au, Matt served as Head of Content with Starts at 60 where he led a team of journalists in reporting on the issues that matter most to over 60s in Australia, particularly in the areas of health and finance.
Matt is experienced writing and reporting on a wide range of financial topics tailored to older Australians, including the Age Pension, superannuation, property, travel, budgeting and retirement planning. In the process, he's developed extensive expertise across key financial products and processes.
Prior to his time at Starts at 60, Matt reported on a wide array of topics with publications such as D’Marge, Scene Magazine and 4ZZZFM.
