With more than ten years’ experience across some of Australia’s biggest financial and consumer brands, he’s on a mission to make money matters feel clear, practical and a whole lot less intimidating. Passionate about untangling financial jargon, Jared breaks down the fine print so it actually makes sense. From energy and home loans to personal finance and credit cards, he’s your go-to for straight-up guidance you can use in the real world.

Before joining Money.com.au, Jared was the Content Marketing Specialist at Brother International Australia – a subsidiary of Brother Industries which is a global brand that produces print, imaging, labelling and sewing products. He was responsible for creating various types of content that helped consumers make confident and informed decisions.

Prior to that, Jared was the Energy Editor at Canstar Blue where he managed a small team of experts who covered the latest electricity deals, plans and prices. Additionally, he contributed to Canstar Blue’s judging panel for its Innovation and Green Excellence Awards, while also being cited as an energy expert by media outlets such as the ABC, The New Daily and Channel Nine.

Jared also worked for Compare the Market as a Content Writer, covering energy, general insurance and banking.
